Respect River houseboat

With regards to Recreational Craft Directive 94/25/EC the Respect River houseboat design category is D Sheltered waters, which means that houseboat has designed for voyages on sheltered coastal waters, small bays, small lakes, rivers and canals when conditions up to, and including, wind force 4 and significant wave heights up to, and including, 0,3 m may be experienced, with occasional waves of 0,5 m maximum height, for example from passing vessels.

  5. Like to create a barge/restaurant to tow down the Erie Canal about 60′ long. I would like to open up a space between floors, lf possible so that a shared experience is created. Also, I like to enclose this sort of platform so that it can be used year round after being placed on a platform when the canal is drained. Any ideas?
